Supreme Steel Ltd began operations in 1972 and has operated under the same management since then. We are currently the largest fabricator in Western Canada and currently operate out of seven facilities in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and Oregon.

Our employees have a vast amount of experience including miscellaneous iron, structural steel, plate work, and bridge work. We are able to take a project from design build to occupancy if required. All projects, whether large or small, are given the same attention to detail as we strive to provide our clients the very best value for their budget and schedule.

We are one of the few fabricators that has a large drafting office. Our drafting office is fully computerized, complete with 3-D modeling tools that are able to take a client's 3-D model as input, and produce an estimated budget for the project within a matter of hours. Drawings are produced complete with CAM data required for shop automated equipment. Each item is tracked in our proprietary system from approval to fabrication and shipping. Our shop drawings also include price category information which is imported into our tracking software for costing and invoicing. The system was designed to accommodate both lump sum and unit price contracts. All drawings are stored on CD-ROM/DVD for archiving.

Our fabrication shops contain some of the latest automated equipment and have various lifting capabilities. We have a welding capability that enables us to perform a wide range of procedures on mild to notch tough steels. Our painting facilities can handle simple primers to exotic epoxies and urethanes. In addition, we maintain in excess of 4000 tons of inventory and more than fifty acres of storage and preassembly space.

Our quality control procedures follow the C.I.S.C. guidelines and Z 299 standards. Our safety program complies with the Alberta Manufacturers Safety Association and is audited annually.

Supreme Steel Ltd began operations as an erection company and, to this day, still maintains an erection department with a vast amount of experience from artistic architectural projects to heavy structural construction and bridgework.
