Supreme Steel is currently looking for a part-time, highly efficient, Industrial Cleaner for our Acheson Shop facility. This part-time permanent position demands an individual who understands safety and has the integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness to work independently to maintain a clean and safe work environment within our shop.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following repetitive tasks:
- Cleaning shop locker rooms, bathrooms, lunchrooms, shop and trailer offices, and general access areas / corridors;
- Sweeping and mopping, wiping and dusting, vacuum and detail cleaning;
- Emptying garbages and recycling containers;
- Other related duties.
The successful candidate must have proven background experience within an industrial environment utilizing industrial cleaning methods, products, building maintenance techniques and possess the following attributes:
- Strong attention to detail to perform a thorough job;
- Ability to meet the physical abilities of the job – have strong endurance and can lift up to 20 pounds, walk stairs and walk between buildings (outside in potentially inclement weather);
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
We use, and provide, Eco friendly & health-conscious cleaning products.
Additional items:
- CSA approved steel toed boots / shoes must be worn;
- Own transportation would be required. Alternatively, Parkland County does provide transit service from Spruce Grove, Stony Plan and Parkland Village to Acheson with an On-Demand bus stop at the entrance to the Supreme Steel building.
This permanent position is considered part-time (24 hours a week, flexible, Monday to Friday during the day).
