Supreme Steel is currently looking for a safety conscious, motivated and growth-oriented individual to fill the position of Trades Helper at our Bridge Division facility in (east) Edmonton, AB. The Trades Helper is responsible for supporting skilled trade workers in the shop, performing routine drilling, grinding, tasks as well as set up, clean up and moving of materials. This is a full-time unionized position for our day shift.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to gain knowledge quickly, following safety precautions and have strong communication skills. We are looking for an energetic individual that has experience in a shop environment and has worked with drill presses, grinders and other shop tools and equipment. Experience in operating overhead cranes and Forklifts is considered an asset.
This is an amazing developmental opportunity for a motivated, growth-orientated individual with an interest in learning the Metal Fabricator and/or Welding trades and wanting to grow into an apprentice role.
