Supreme Steel completed the fabrication and installation of the Groat Road Bridge replacement over the North Saskatchewan River, while operation of the thoroughfare was in use. The project was delivered and installed in two phases to maintain continuous access to traffic during construction. Supreme was able to fabricate and deliver 46m (150ft) long girders to the site for pre-assembly into pairs and final placement by a temporary gantry crane. Southbound girders were installed in 2019 while the remaining girders were placed in the spring of 2020.
