Supreme Steel was very please to be a part of one of Edmonton’s most exciting and meaningful projects in Edmonton. The “Ice District” development has added 1,400 residential units, 2,500 underground parking spaces, 350 hotel rooms and 270,000 square feet of retail space to the downtown core. Edmonton has become home to the tallest building west of Toronto with the 66 story Stantec Tower.

Supreme’s part in this remarkable project is to supply, fabricate and erect 750 tons of structural steel for the podium entrance to Stantec’s 66 story office tower. With distinct architectural details such as long curved walls, cantilevered floors, terracotta baguette feature walls and glass covered exterior canopies, the podium building lines flow out to form a visually striking profile similar to the arena building.
