David joined Supreme Steel in 2011 and holds the position of President and Chief Operating Officer. With over 14 years at the company and a career built in the construction industry, he brings operational insight, strategic leadership, and a strong foundation in field experience to his executive role.
David holds a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter Certificate from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trades Commission and earned a Business Administration Certificate from the University of Saskatchewan. He applies both his technical and business expertise to advance Supreme’s mission and values.
Over the years, David has progressed through several key leadership positions at Supreme, beginning as a Project Manager & Estimator, where he played a hands-on role in executing and bidding projects across Saskatchewan. He then moved into the role of Director of Project Solutions, followed by serving as Operations Manager and Director of Estimating. In 2022, he was appointed President & COO, where he now oversees operations across all regions and supports long-term strategic planning and performance execution.
David has contributed to several standout projects, including the Saskatoon Traffic Bridge, the CN Borden River Crossing Bridge, and Microsoft’s Campus. His leadership is rooted in a deep understanding of construction and a passion for building teams that deliver quality and safety across all phases of a project.
Outside of work, David is passionate about youth sports and community involvement. He enjoys playing guitar, long-distance running, coaching basketball, collecting basketball cards, traveling, woodworking, and creating short films—pursuits that reflect his creative energy and love of mentorship both on and off the court.
