Acheson, Alberta
David joined Supreme Steel in October 2008 and serves as Director of Fabrication at the Acheson facility. Over the past 15 years, David has developed a well-rounded understanding of the steel fabrication business, with experience spanning accounting, project management, production planning, and operations.
Prior to joining the steel industry, David worked in banking and aviation. He brings a cross-industry perspective to his leadership role. His favourite projects at Supreme include the Supreme Steel Head Office, Rainier Square Tower, the Amazon Spheres, and Primary Separation Cells—projects that reflect both technical complexity and community impact.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration. He is passionate about continuous improvement and developing versatile teams that can adapt to the evolving needs of fabrication and construction.
Outside of work, David enjoys camping in the summer and snowboarding in the winter—often alongside his children, whose interests help shape his own. When time allows, he’s focused on reef keeping, studying coral husbandry, and staying connected to his love of the ocean. He’s especially passionate about projects that contribute to communities and about preserving marine ecosystems for future generations.
