Donald has been with Supreme Steel since May 2003 and serves as Shop Foreman in the Bridge Division. With over two decades of experience in bridge fabrication, Don brings strong technical knowledge and practical leadership to the shop floor.
His expertise includes fitting and welding bridge girders, as well as supervising and delegating work to ensure projects stay on track and meet Supreme’s quality standards. Don has contributed to numerous high-profile builds, with the Anthony Henday flyover at Calgary Trail and the Saline Creek Pedestrian Bridge among his favourite projects.
Don is a certified Journeyman Fitter and Journeyman Welder, and also holds a CSA W47.1 Welding Supervisor designation.
Before joining Supreme, he gained hands-on experience in air handling unit fabrication, appliance service, cabinet making, and automotive mechanics—skills that continue to inform his approach to fabrication and troubleshooting.
In his free time, Don enjoys fishing, hunting, and gardening. He values honesty and compassion in both leadership and life.
